I guess I'm too noob - Fargoth's Secret Hiding Place
   

I watched the guy sneak, but from the Lighthouse, I didn't see his spot. Do I have to get closer and hide? Is it a specific spot that will let you know when you hit it or do you have to trace his path?

Forget it. I had unfortunately skipped ahead too far in time and missed most of his "round".

Sit up in that tower and wait for him to walk out to the "hollow tree stump" in the middle of that small pond. He will only do this at night though like the guy that gives you teh quest says so if you're in day light wait till 8pm-4am and he'll finally walk out there.
