I have made the Mithril sword, but cant seem to get back to level 7. I cant go back passed the blocked tunnel where the beast came from.. I have the gold key from the smelt, but cant open the door facing south to get to the stairs to level 7. Am I missing something? |

You should be able to get from the forge where you made the sword back to the room where you smashed the beast, pull the lever to close the grate over the lava and then get back to kitchen with the key you found in one of the bedrooms. There are four keys to be found in this section. check the office, the bedrooms, and the air vent. If this doesn't help I'll have to know what room you are in to talk you through. Once in the kitchen again you can go around and levetate over to the teleport and get out or go the same way you came in on the stairs. Good Luck.

Thank you so much... it was the one in the bedroom, I overlooked a shiny metal key. This game can be tedius... I dont remember Ultima Underworld being like that hehe.. Thanx again. This is the kinda game you can run around and be stuck and not even know it |

I think it is how they meant to make it. You really have to check everything out, play around, and save a lot, or you get screwed. Thank goodness for forums. Have fun, and save Arx again for the rest of us.
