Thief: Deadly Shadows - Interview @ HomeLAN Fed

Wander over to HomeLAN Fed for an interview with Ion Storm's Warren Spector and Nathan Regener about 'Thief: Deadly Shadows':
HomeLAN - When the time came to develop the third game in the series, what were the development team's main goals?

Nathan Regener - Our main goals were maintaining the fiction, feel and strong story of the first two games while presenting them in a modern game engine with up-to-date graphics, sounds and physics. Also we focused on producing an accessible, engrossing and entertaining experience. We didn’t want the interface to interfere with the game experience.

Accessible...wow, they dumbed down Thief - a game that was already simple as hell.
