| bloodmoon frozen skeletons |
|
call me daft, but i cant melt the ice to check these skeletons. is this part of a quest, says i dont have the right tool?... help |

yes, there's a couple of quest paths that will get you to the right tool.
Or you may just find it on your own.
In any case, your character can't do anything to those 'frozen skeletons' until he/she gets the tool. |

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't read ahead!
Spoiler:
After you get to a certain point in the East Empire Trading Company Quests, you'll get a pickaxe that will allow you to break off pieces of that "ice". You can never get to the skelly though.

The people near the lake who gave you the tool to cut the stalrihm also forge armor and weapons from it if you return the raw stahlrim to them.
