over-encumber

I just play the game and my char got the ddk sword in the bandits cave near Seyda Neen. But he could not move and got the "over-encumber" sign. What does it mean and how to get out of it? Thanks.

I solved that problem but have another one. I lost the cross-hair. How do I get it back?

it means you got to much weight so drop some items or make your streght go up.

The good thing is that the stuff dont disappear.
For the crosshair: Check options.
