For the vast majority of video (and sound) related problems people are having - the answer is generally DRIVERS. Check your video drivers and sound drivers against the most recent ones on the manufacturer sites - also check Microsoft for updated drivers (it depends upon your operating system). Note (as someone else already pointed out) that the newest drivers won't necessarily produce the best results - even though they should - so you might have to experiment a bit. Also, a note to those less experienced computer users - depending upon your operating system and the manufacturer of the drivers, there are several ways to update the drivers to your system. These methods do NOT always produce equivalent results - if the site where you got the drivers has instructions then follow them. Just running a driver install (or setup) might not be the best method (I did that on XP and still had problems) - so read instructions carefully.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I echo Joey's sentiments. I can't understand how people with high-end systems are having problems when the game runs like a champ on my old box.
Check list:
1. Drivers (as above)
2. Lots of Ram 256+ (swap out test)
3. Good video (Ge2 ti 64)
4. Good cpu 350+ (the cpu is the less important).
5. Virual memory up to 2ghz

ffbj, when u say "old box", how old is ur box? few Qs: what's a driver? where can u find it on ur cube? is it downloadable? Which 1 do u suggest to use? are sound and video cards related to drivers?

A driver is a small piece of software that tells your operating system how _exactly_ to communicate with itīs related piece of hardware. If you can plug or integrate something in a pc it needs a driver. Most manufacturers constantly finetune their drivers.
To identify the correct driver you need to know your exact piece of hardware and windows version.
