So far people ordered from two different places. Maybe you should be patient and wait if both works without trouble. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

WEll here's an update from me:
I tried to order through kochmedia.de (which is partnered with softunity.com for their catalog orders), but later found out from their support that they did not ship to the USA. I would imagine this means they don't ship outside of EU countries.
Currently, I have contacted the Rollinspiille.de (sp?) shop. THey are the ones that service the sales from the PB homepage link. They have told me that they *wiill* accept PayPal orders and ship to the USA (Big $$ shipping , though).
I have not gotten back with them to confirm my order because I decided to hold out a bit longer to see what Atari UK may do with the addon. _________________ All shall hear the words of Karras...the words of Karras |

If Atari would know, how many people want this english addon,I think then they would get to work and release it.They just don`t know how many "trouble" they are causing with this delay(if it is a delay at all). _________________ But one thing is certain: we shall meet again! |

Oh, they pretty much know. They know how 'well' Gothic 2 sold and statistics will tell you that 20-40% of the owner of a game will also buy its expansion. And that outlook obviously wasn't that appealing to them considering the sales performance of the original. |

I'm wondering how many interested parties it would take to talk GoGamer into importing the German version. We know they'll import the English version when (if) it shows up. Maybe one of those online petitions would help, get a hundred people to sign that they will buy it if its imported. A petition would be more likely to talk GoGamer into that, than to talk Atari into publishing it here. _________________ 9700Pro, AMD64 3200+, WinXP-Win98SE

I looked this up. DHL / Deutsche Post quotes 29 EUR for a package up to 5 kg with insurance to North America.
Sending it as a letter up to 250g or 500g could be possible. A DVD case should fit into it.
Looks like postage is as expensive as the game. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Using PayPal Rollen-spiel.de sent me the game German Gothic 2 Gold Edition to here in the USA for 47 EUR total. Even a bit cheaper. 30 EUR for the game, the rest is shipping and insurance.
about 53 USD total for it all. _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |
