Getting back to NWN after a few months - will the patch help

I gave up on NWN a few months ago because I was encountering a number of nasty bugs in Chapter two. How's the latest patch working, and will I be able to use my old saves?

Also, I tried to downloaad the latest update but after a quick start, the download seems to hang about 3/4 of the way through, and I finally gave up after about 15 minutes. Is this normal, or is something wrong?

The patches are great, and yes, you'll be able to use your old savegames - just use the autoupdate, and wait(it might take some time if you haven't updated in a while)..

Go take a nap or something while it's downloading..
