Well, iv'e been following this thread, and what i am reading has made me cry
- - yes - cry! i have been to the doctor for some tablets to calm me down,
because i have been crying with laughter! 
Let me explain, consider these words from beliarsclew:-

After three and a half years of playing Gothic every which possible, countless number of times, one things for sure.
**There is no faster melee weapon method than the one-handed sword - -
use the lock on focus method with rapid on-off on the left crtl button but followed by a momentary forward at the same time, then *BOTH-OFF*
then repeat again.

wulf i am gonna tell you something it can work with the 2hw,and the 1hw is fast but will not do good against alot of creatures and don't tell me that the answer is stealth,how will you use stealth against a bunch of orcs or fire lizards???plz. answer me and let us finish this thread.

stealth on a bunch of orcs requeres a combo of longreange weapons and 1hander .. stand just out of their view reange and either walk one sted till one gets pissed and charges you and then smack it down .. or shoot one of them .. then most of them will charge yes but not always
again .. a qustion of skill

i can say that your way can work but it takes alot of time and for a beginner like the one who is asking,i guess he needs to use the 2hw.

im just say that its the safest way to hunt orcs rather then chargeing in to a small groupe of them and get killed by the orc dogs around the coner that you didnt see was there

hey i've killed alot of orc that way .. atleast in the game ..
but im pretty sure if i was faced whit a bunch of orcs in real life thats how i'd take them down .. that is if i werent give the chance to run far away

but at the end i wanna say that Ucojat your way is good and it works, but it is a difference in opinyon don't consider it personal, my problem is i can't figure it out, why is the 1hw better and cost less to learn, and don't your way work with thw 2hw??
