Some Moron stole my Credi card number online...

Some Moron stole my Credit card number online and charged around $100 of pay website charges on it. Anyway how this relates to Morrowind is that it was the same credit card that I used to preorder Morrowind and the card is now canceled... ARG.... I hope I get thing straightened out. I should be all the money back that was charged on my CC but i'll really be pissed if this ends up delaying my CE of Morrowind getting to me ASAP.

You should have Myrthos send the hunters after them so they can jump on their legs until they say they are sorry and pay you back.

My condolences, Incindium...

Last year, I had a hacker get my card info and run up charges on porn sites. My woman was pretty skeptical as to how those charges were on my bill.. Took some convincing to get her and the CC company to believe me...finally got the acct credited and number(s) switched...was a helluva hassle though...

Yes exactly, you should ask for prompt employment of our emergency squad.

Credit Card

I'm sure everyone in this forum would be glad to keep an eye out for the dirty rotten person who took your card. Just give us the number and we'll let you know if we see it being used.

Just kidding.........sorry things like that happen.[/list]

Wow, I thought these types of things never happened. Sites always say, "Our website is secure", but... that's horrible that that could happen. At least you have access to pr0n now

Those things don't only happen online, a few of month ago a clerk at a gas station tried to use my friend's CC# to try and buy $2000.00 of rims for his truck. The purchase was over her limit so the CC company called her about it, fortunately. I think it's just as risky to physically hand your CC# over to a person as it is to order online.

Anyway, I think that completely bites insindium! I really hope that everything works out.
