A thing I expected from NOTR |
|
A thing I expected from NOTR was some kind of NPC evolution ( evolution of all creatures would have been to much ).
Things which would have increased NOTR's reality
-If I rob Constantino in Ch1 I expect him to slowly gather some money before Ch2 let's say.
like in real life .
-if I sell Bosper wolf skins I expect to find those somewhere in his house , chest ..., to be able
to rob them .Further consequences from that are a mather of decision ( i.e. if he woul buy those again from me)
-for both creatures & NPC - increases in their skills - young wolf kills sheep or it nearly kills me
2 times - it would become wolf.Same for humans, so that they become more skilled over time based on their actions.
I love Gothic 2 NOTR more then any other game and I hope helping a little improuving Gothic 3
by mentioning things I would like to see , even things I was expecting from NOTR.
I just feels deceiving knowing that if I have emptyed a house of all its values I will have no further bussiness there for the rest of the game - its like losing a part of the big & beautiful
world that Gothic 2 has.its kind of emptines and its spreads.
Same for NPC's after you beat them, rob them, they become empty things having no further
busines in the game.Like a world falling piece by piece.
Well that's my opinion. Sorry if I have made you sad - it realy is for me. |

Play Gothic 1. They had the whole robbing-the-merchant thing there, but it was too easy to become utterly wealthy and get super items, so it upset the game balance.
Also, why would you beat up everyone? The point in the game isn't to make money you know, hehe. I only beat up the people I have to beat up, and I don't rob houses anymore as sneaking and other thief related stuff is a waste of skillpoints in NotR(in the original game spending points on everything was possible, you would still have enough to become a "superhero", but in NotR it's a lot harder, especially as a mage).
Just my two cents. |

The first game was alot better you should play it it has a more memorable feeling with the areas and the old camp sect camp and mecenary camp and diego's voice is awesome he doesnt look / sound like a clown like in part 2.
Oh and about beating every one up in Gothic 2 i played it normal but in Gothic 1 i beat up and KILLED every single imporant person lmao.
At first i killed every digger i could find then the guards and i did it all with out any one seeing me for exp and items.
Later i killed Lee but i didnt know if i killed a npc i couldnt progress the story so i i put him back in with marvin mode (thank god for that)
Then when i was about to fight the last battle i went to each main person and killed them i killed every one every gomes i was to strong for any one to beat me lol. |
