Gothic 2 hesitating sometimes...

Gothic 2 sometimes hesitates and it takes a pretty long time to load too tough I checked with a program, how good is my PC compared to Gothic 2 reqs and it turned out that my PC is could run Gothic 2 higher than 1024x706 and higher than normal performance.

Currently I have: P4 1,6 Ghz, GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 64bit, 256 SDRAM.

The CPU is okay, albeit rather on the slow side. Your graphics card is outdated. Todayīs cards are easily 10x as fast. 256 MB is not enough for fluent gameplay. 512 MB is highly recommended.

What if I upgrade 256 DDRAM and would get this video card too: Connect3D RADEON 9600 AGP 128MB DDR DVI TV-Out?

You cannot mix SD-RAM and DDR-RAM. You have to make sure you buy the correct memory. 512 MB will be a serious improvement.
A Radeon 9600 non-Pro is also rather slow, afaik. Getting a GeForce 4 Ti (4200, 4400, 4600, 4800) would probably the better choice. I donīt know how the situation is in your country, but I could get such a card here for 50 - 100 EUR on ebay. Depending on speed and model of course.
Some other threads about graphics cards are in AOT.

Lmfao the card is 50 EUR in your country? I can get it for 40 EUR only... I think you're way off right now, but anyway I'm gonna buy more games on my PS2 cause I'm getting a bit tired of my PC.

When I last saw a 'new' GeForce Ti 4600 in our shop's price list, it was about ~50 € - but they aren't made anymore so we don't list them anymore.

9600 Pro easily kills and rapes anything in the GF4 generation, non-Pro is weaker but still better than any GF4 Ti cards. 9600 SE is pretty slow, it would have a tough time against the a Ti 4600.

Be careful recommending the 4800. The 4800 SE is actually a 4400 extended to AGP 8x spec, and is not as fast as the 4600 was.
