Sounds like a very original MMORPG for a change...

This game is gonna SMOKE! Level 5 developed Dark Cloud 1&2 for PS2. They are co-developing this game and Dragon Warrior 8. This MMORPG looks like an online version of Dragon Warrior. The characters are very Akira Toriyoma looking. And you will get to use voice chat for the first time in an MMORPG.
