It is 100% true that a lot = most of the NWC staff was laid off, including all of the M&M team (except JVC).

MMWorlds has a good bit about it, as does Telf's MM9 Tavern. If you want links to these, let me know & I will figure out how to set them up.

Have you noticed?

Hi everyone! I did not want to create another topic, so I just felt that I would post my thoughts here.
Have you noticed how many references there are in M&M IX? So many times, have I encountered something that lead me to say that they wanted to make so many "winks" to someone in particular!
For example, in the Ta'Sar Academy, the logo of the academy is the logo of New World Computing!
At the same place, when you find the Book of Rules, it is said that it is the famous book of war rules written by the famous warrior Monte! Then at the end of the description, it is also said that it is the 3rd edition of the rules! Isn't this a tribute to the new Donjons & Dragons edition? (Monte being one of the writer of the new rules of the rpg)
What about you guys? What have you found so far?
