There is a spell called Freeze that there is a picture of here on this site that I can't figure out the runes for.
I know the spells create cold projectile and create cold space, also cold protection, but nothing that freezes enemies into large ice crystals as depicted in the screenshot.
Can anyone help out? |

I've tried ice field...aam...fridd...spacium...ice projectile...aam...yok...fridd...but have not gotten that large frozen in the ice crystal effect on enemies either...maybe my magic level is still too low...these spells have an ice effect but not for long...can't remember what it says in that article dedicated to this spell...did you look that up...I still like fireball...firefield and harm spells...

I've always wondered what spell the Liches cast on us when we're "frozen"... it always looked as if I weas stuck in ice rather than just a "temporary shift sticking us into our position" or something like that.
When you're close to the liches you'll notice they draw runes just the same, so maybe if we could reproduce whatever they cast on us it'll work... |

I went back and checked article of the week#8...the only thing I could see in the screenshot that looked like a rune was what looked like MOVIS...move...what about trying FRIDD...freeze...MOVIS...move???

That's a good idea Red...I'm nowhere near Lichs now...and Ein is right
about the combination FRIDD...MOVIS...I've been unsuccessful with the various combinations I've tried so far...Do you think it could be a character or magic level that is still too low to use what we've tried???

Well the response I got was an accusation of piracy since the freeze spell according to him is "explained in the manual". I don't know what manual he's looking at but it certainly isn't in mine. Or yours either I don't think, unless we are all just collosally stupid. Freeze time, yes, but not any spell related to ICE. So far those have all been secret.
I am not pleased. |

Well, to keep anyone interested in this up to date, apparently those spell effects were changed in production, so we have been barking up the wrong tree.
*sigh*
(The pirating accusation was just a mixup, I'm happy to say :-) |
