... alright, this time i must agree... there are much differences in dbz and matrix. still, you saw a lot of moves multiple times. that was something that didn't happended in part one of the matrix. (fight between Neo and Smith)

I can live with that because I know good Anime when I see it.
yes, and there are only a few good animes. (like 'Rurouni Kenshin' and 'Trigun') _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

Yes. Only a few good anime. And I think the Matrix series is one of them.
They didn't pull the name Animetrix out of the hat when they named their bonus stories DVD release, after all. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

You guys haven't seen enough of them yet, it would seem. Latest masterpiece is Juuni Kokuki (The Twelve Kingdoms), aka Juuni Kokki.
As for Matrix, I haven't seen Reloaded yet, but I'm sure I will like it, as I have also enjoyed the second part for various reasons, contrary to the opinion of the masses... Or maybe my expectations of these movies were/are just different. _________________ “Through the sounds of falling rain, through the clouds of bitter times

I haven't watched many anime over the last ten years, but I really liked Battle Angel Alita, Ghost in the Shell, Cyber City Oedo, Genocyber, Black Magic...
The only recent anime I watched were Animatrix and Hellsing. The latter was pretty, uh, mindless IMO, didn't like it a bit, while I liked the Animatrix a lot, especially the Second Renaissance (both parts). _________________ Jaz |

i don't know if any movie can get better than this one.
it has many moral aspects of life.
and the peeps who think it doesn't have them... go and watch the movie 2 or 3 more times and you'll get fed up with the war and see other stuff.
the movie really shows what a simple war cen get people into. they show that the thing you create... deletes you... its also called evolution...

I don't watch much anime at all, really. Dragonball, Dragonball Z (dragonball was better because it was supposed to be funny), Evangelion (when I was clinically depressed. Not recommended in such a frame of mind.), Escaflowne (both movie and series... movie good, series better), Knights of the Zodiac (ah... the 80s), Voltron (ditto), Robotech (ditto), hmm... one I can't remember the name of but it was pretty good (back in the 80s once again).
Thinking back.... I always knew the people who complain about all cartoons being anime now were on crack... but really, it's not a new thing at all. I guess the dry spell anti-violence of the 90s really did some damage.
Angel Sanctuary (just episode 1), Record of the Lodoss War (very good! I love D&D! I love anime! Combine and...), Ranma 1/2, Macross Plus, MDK, Sailor Moon (loved the dry spell of anime cartoons in english in the 90s... )... _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

The anime series I'm currently following are Full Metal Panic and Noir.
I seem to prefer Manga versions more though, like GTO and FLCL.
Haibane-Renmei seems promising though. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I recently started to get 'into' anime, but I have seen pretty many since then. Some of the best ones are, IMO: Naruto, Haibane Renmei, FLCL (manga? this is originally an anime) and Cowboy Bebop.
I'm watching pretty many animes right now, stuff like Naruto, Fruits Basket, Kenshin, Ranma 1/2 etc. |

I know, Hexy. But if a Manga is popular enough, they'll make it into Anime. If Anime is popular enough, then they'll make a Manga version too. Sometimes I prefer the one version over the other, that's all. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
