Second chapter henchmen quest among other things? |
|
Okay....where is grimgaw's mummified hand? or the calishman gem thingy for Tomi? Or Daelen's quest item? I found the lock of nymph hair for Sharwynn and the seeds for Boddynock. I suspect Linu's item is in the archaelogist's cave somewhere. Also do we ever get any new henchmen? Lastly... do prestige classes count for multiclassing? Because it'd be somewhat difficult to not lose xp through those. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! You'll find the mummified hand in the Arcane Brotherhood's Tomb.
The star of calimshan can be found in Wanev's Tower which is south of town.
A dwarf named Gorkan has the axe that Daelan needs. He's in the challenge maze at the Green Griffon Inn.
Linu's item is in the Troll Cave on the East Road.
Nope, those are the only henchman in the OC campaign. There are different henchmen in the expansions.
I think that prestige classes do count towards multiclassing. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Thanks. What is the purpose of raise dead and ressurrection if there is no one to use it on? Lastly....can rogues make magic items when you do Eltoora's quest in chapter 2? I could use some enhanced cloaks or boots for my rogue. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! I do not understand this question (or your later response). Under the 3.0+ rules each character level is independent of the class level. eg: It takes 4,000 xp to reach the next level whether you are a lvl 4 mage or a lvl 2 fgtr/lvl 2 thief. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I think he's talking about the XP penalty for gaining levels out of balance (10th fighter / 2nd thief, for instance). I doubt this would apply to prestige classes. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Does NWN have that hooked up as a rule? I don't believe so. It would make the level up process to messy.
I don't multi class that often (outside of prestige classes) and when I have, it just happens that the multi classer was human (so one class is free). I am 99% sure that 3.0 rules exempt prestige classes from that penalty - not 100% sure. Xen would know, and I am too lazy to remember the question until I get home and have access to my rules *grin*
But thanks for the clarification dte. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

According to the manual, NWN does use that penalty. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

If that is so (and I don't doubt you on this, oh Master of the Rulz and Keeper of the Charters *grin*), then prestige classes do NOT count. I am 100% sure of that - having just played a Dwarven defender in January (while traveling). There was no penalty. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

For some reason I like my characters to be half orc. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! Or dogs with bees in their mouth so that when they bark they shoot bees at you?" - Homer Simpson |
