| When is Gothic 2 going to be released in US/Canada? |

I haven't been able to find a concrete release date for Gothic 2 in North America? Does anybody have any factual information regarding this?
Also I heard you can order it from the U.K. But people are also talking about how the American version will be slightly different and perhaps less sloppily put together. Should I get the U.K. version or is there a valid reason to wait for the US version? |

October 28th is the last I heard. Check atari USA's webstie, they have their own Gothic 2 page under the "action/adventure" category.
Since now its only a month away and you've waited this long, It may not hurt to wait for the USA release assuming things get "cleaned up" a bit. (By that I mean, minor annoyances such as untranslated diary entries and voice clips that need to be edited -- there is nothing gamebreaking in the UK version).
Those of us who jumped on the UK version did so because it was in English and it was avaialable on June 13th. Back then we knew Atari was saying October for the USA release and it made no sense to wait that long when the English version was available in other countries at that very moment.
Now that October is just around the corner, the argument for waiting is a bit stronger.
