Yes, I have a Radeon 9000, with 128 mb, and you can play almost any game with it.

If you have the money, buy the Ge-force.It is more powerful and is cheap.

Yeah i would love to buy the geforce.. but i am currently rebuilding my Saxo so i have spent most of my money on that and only have around £200 and i think the Geforce is about £300 here..
would it make a big difference if i baught the geforce instead of the radeon do you think?

Buy a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with 64MB. Such a card costs from 99 to 149 EUR in Germany. To find a Radeon which is faster you have to go as high as a 9500 Pro.

Radeon 7000? Are two frames per second enough for you? The Radeon 7000 is an office card.

i had a GEF 4 ti 4200 64 mb that lasted 7 months and then the chip blew out. playing Morrowind did that to it. it just couldn't keep up.

i replaced it with an AIW Radeon 9700 PRO 128 mb and it flies thru everything i give it. its a totally yummy card. not to mention the dual monitors and recording TV shows. it's a winner! every game i play is smooth as silk and crisp and fast.
