Quest for guy with eye-patch help

In relation to the quest for that guy with an eye-patch, where is the dig site near the pass? It says it's next to the waterfall, but i can't find it anywhere.

By pass i take it means the pass to the valey of the mines correct? Is the dig site to the left or right of the waterfall?

It's in front of the waterfall next ot the gate to the pass (guarded by two knights). You probably missed it because there are some lurkers moving around on top of the cross.

It's left from the watherfall. There are two lurkers on the left and one in front of the watherfall. (to it's right is the VoM entrance)
Tip:
If you go there after you get into the Wather Mage Guild, in front of the entrance you'll find there a bowhunter who also belongs to the W Mages Guild.
Talk to him and after that he'll walk away in the lurker's direction. He will kill them. You only have to attract them a bit.
