I can't seem to kill the Fire Golem with it. If I send a bolt towards the golem, it does nothing to it, and if I try to cast the spell when the golem is close to me, the golem just kills me. What is it that I'm trying to do with this spell? I'm sure it's timing, but the spells in this game have been a bit buggy so far - like the telekinesis spell that didn't work at all at the Mountain Fort (casting spell while looking at the Rune, with the script "Mountain Fort Rune" appearing). Odd things keep happening with spells - sometimes they work, other times they don't. I'm just wondering if this is one of those times. ANy hints here? |

The ice golem heart is needed in a few minutes. To kill the fire golem you have to use some lightning spell. I donīt remember the details, but this has been explained in the forum a dozen times.
The telekinesis scroll in the Old Mountain Fort has to be used from the balkony. |

I tried the telekinesis spell from every balcony on the tower - spent about half an hour on this one. And the spell SHOULD have worked while the "Mountain Fort Focus" appeared while I was casting the spell, as I was looking directly at it while that script appeared on the screen. Nonetheless, it did not work. I used a meatbug spell instead and climbed up.
With respect to the Fire GOlem, the magic book about the Golems does say that Ice should work. Now, given that I have a book that says I should use Ice, and given that I have just been given an Ice Golem Heart that can be used as an Ice spell, logic dictates that this is the way to proceed - and not that one should have to go all the way back to camp to buy more spells. In every quest in this game so far, the appropriate spell is right there on the ground when you need it, and I suspect that this quest is no different. So if the Ice Golem Heart doesn't work, I'd say that was a bug. |

Well, if you want to think it is a bug, go right ahead. Feel free to ask a question - get an answer and then complain about the answer.
If you have read the book, then you know precisely how to kill the fire golem.

The Ice Golem's Heart is not strong enough. Try Ball Lightning, fully charged. |

All you need is the lowest level ice spell - but you need several of them.
