Does anyone know how on enchant items? I know I need to capture a soul, but that aside, I'm pretty clueless.

Cast the spell Soul Trap or one of its variants on a creature while you have a Soul Gem in your inventory and the soul of the creature will be capture in the gem.

I think there are different levels to the Soul Trap spell and there are definitely different sizes of Soul Gems.

Essentially the higher the level of the creature you are trying to trap, the higher the spell level and gem size needs to be...but I'm not sure what the level scale is.

Laters,

Oh, and in order to actually capture the soul in the gem you have to slay the creature before the spells duration runs out.

Here is a link to a full description of Soul Capturing and Enchanting that appears in the official spoiler forum:

After reading through the docs at the URL above I realized I had a couple minor things wrong so I hope this helps clear it up
