Hi
I've finish gothic2 3 times and i wanted to play it once again before addon, i've install yesterday service pack 2 and the game doesnt work no more...
Does anyone have any idea what to do ?
Does anyone have the same problem ?

Another poster had the same problem a few days ago. It seems G2 is incompatible with SP2.

Well, i unfortunately have the polish version of gothic 2, which works just fine with Service pack 2. Unfortuantely, it is of course in the wrong damned language. I guess check out your video and sound card drivers, upgrade or downgrade em, standard answers for this sort of problem.
I know when you autoupdate win xp with SP2 it tries to downgrade your graphics drivers, maybe this happened. Get nvidias yourself from their site. If you have a nividia card of course! |

I can confirm that isn't true. I've installed SP2 and I had no problem with running gothic2. On the other hand I already have the addon installed too, so that might be a difference.

No, people with addon have problems with SP2 too. Probably SP2, some hardware and Gothic2 don't like to do it in triple. |
