I noticed that once in a while when I level up, I'm awarded 2 skill points instead of just 1.
I'm wondering if I can manipulate this in my favor by saving my game just before I'm going to level up. Then when I level, I can check if I was awarded two skill points or not. If not, I would reload and try again.
OR is being awarded 2 skill points hard wired into the code to only occur at predetermined intervals?
Any idea how this works?

I am pretty sure you gain 2 skill points every 3rd or 4th level, so you can not manipulate it. check out the locus inn to make sure.

Every 5th level you get 2 skillpoints.
