Looking for pictures of fictional female pirates |
|
I have a female friend who wants to get a tattoo of a female pirate(personally I don't like tattoos and wouldn't get one myself) and I'm looking for pictures I could show to her on the web as good examples. Anyone know of some sites that might have good pictures of fictional female pirates? _________________ "Mr. Magee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

No luck so far, eh? Tell you what... if you post up some links of piratey clothes, swords, pistols and the like, I could throw a few sketches together, see what you think? |

To be more specific, I want to specify a timeline. When I think of pirates, I usually think of a historical time period of say late 1400's to late 1800's, though I'm sure there were pirates before and after those times. What I am looking for though is the earlier time period of pirates, late 1400's, early 1500's. Not too picky, but I was thinking of an attractive female pirate with a patch over one eye, a cutlass in one hand, and a pistol from the late 1400's or early 1500's in the other hand.
I would post links of what kind of clothes a woman from that time period would wear, but I really don't know of any sites like that. Any sketches would be welcome though. _________________ "Mr. Magee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

Dude! Pirates are awesome! Your lady friend certainly has good taste! I think if I was going to get a tattoo it would be of a pirate as well. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Thanks Val, those were some really great pictures, better than any yet that I've seen. _________________ "Mr. Magee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

Yep, they're cool. The first one's fantastic - stick a pistol in her hand, and I reckon you may have found your piratey gal, eh Hulk? |

Well, she has a pistol and a cutlass, just not in her hands. Maybe that's close enough though. _________________ "Mr. Magee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
