Person 1: "In itself, unimpeachable. But what did you sell in your butcher shop?"
Cary Grant's character: "Meat. At cost."
Person 1: "At cost? Without profit. Then how did you make your living?"
Cary Grant's character: "I made sick people well."
Person 1: "Ah ha!"
Cary Grant's character: "Um hm. Why should that startle you? I still do."
Person 1: "Do you deny that at that time your patients were under the impression that you were a butcher and not a doctor?"
Cary Grant's character: "Do you prefer the impression given to their patients by so many of our colleagues that they are doctors and not butchers?"
That should be enough for anyone who has seen the movie to know it.

To be honest: I cheated a bit, but i had heard about this movie before (although i didn't see the connexion when i saw the quote).
