Problem inside Akbaa Temple

HELP!!!

I'm completely stuck in the Akbaa temple quest, i have activated all three switches as the PDF says and the walkway has'nt appeared

Ive tried reloading and doing the whole thing again from before i activate the first Golem, still no luck. Has anyone else had this problem happen?? Or is there anything anyone can suggest that might remedy the situation?

Many thanks in advance.

EDIT: i forgot to mention that im using v 1.17.

If you are using the pdf then you should be doing it in right order and right way. You may have a corrupted save game. Try going to save just before that one and start there. If that doesn't fix you can find link to J Roby at arkane in the first thread. Sounds like a bug to me.

Thats a good idea it didnt occur to me it could be the save getting corrupted. I did try a reload, 4-5 times infact lol, but i think they were all from 1 save. I'll go and try it see what happens.

Thanks very much for your help.

You're welcome. Read a few of the threads here about that fight. Losts of good ideas on how to beat the guy depending on you skills and weapons. Have fun.

It is possible, at least in the PC version, to jump onto the nearest gear that pulls the walkway over, then to the other gear, and then to the far platform.

Not sure if Levitate would also work, but it might.

The part you are talking about won't let you jump it and no majic in that zone. You have to solve the puzzle to get the bridge to open.

We're talking about the bridge to the meteor chamber, right?

Where you interupt Iserbius and fight the demon?

Yup. It is the only bridge that has to move in the game, so I know where you mean. I jumped my head off the first time I played and then read the notes I had picked up from the dead priests, and figured out I was missing something, so backed up, hit the PDF file and did the stuff.

Yeah, that's the one where I was able to jump onto the gears to get across. It's some really tricky jumping, though.

And after I posted I remebered that you couldn't use magic in there.

Though I didn't go think to go back and explore the security area until later when there were Ylsides wandering around the temple. Only to find that there wasn't anything usefull in there.

Of course now I have an extra Golum Heart.
