See this movie.

That is all.

Just do it.

Wow.

I really enjoyed it. There were a few scenes of ridiculous melodrama, but it was a very entertaining flick.

Yes, but those scenes of melodrama were practically ripped from the pages of the graphic novel. It looks like a few people in hollywood are finally figuring out that to make a good comic book movie you should probably READ the comic first.

I was very disappointed with this movie. Barley any action. I was also disappointed with History of Violence (a graphic novel adaption) but less so than with this movie. In both the commercials make you think of action, the real movie is crap dialogue/story, and no action.

I can’t wait for Sin City 2. All the stories were great (besides the red shoe guys story with the hookers) and the action was great throughout.

I just saw Big Trouble in Little China on TV the other day. I forgot what a masterpiece that movie was. Almost every scene is great. This should be reversed. They should start making graphic novels about BtiLC.

I never read a graphic novel, but I’ve heard a lot about one called Sandman. Its not frank Miller, but I guess its just as good as his stuff. I hope they make a movie about that.

Roqua, you know I love you ( ) but sometimes your thought process astounds me. Then again, you are the manly one here. You obviously know whats best.

Of course.

p.s. what astounded you? I thought it was a regular and bland post. I also love you. Hows the life of a seaman going?

Hmm, well, I guess I don't even know how to explain it.

My seamanism is going alright. I actually just finally got out of my training command. Yep, tax payers money hard at work, allowing me the opportunity to sit around in a lounge for 10 weeks because we didnt have a classroom. And thats just the tip of the ice berge. Seriously though, 20 months and I still don't know how to do my job! I'm on the U.S.S. Olympia now.

[Heh. Sorry, Xen, for derailing this thread]

She has already proven that (a) she knows how to act very well (b) she can act very badly (c) she can look hot (d) she can look like a pre-pubescent girl.

She just needs to figure out when doing each of the above is appropriate.

V was indeed action light but that's not such a bad thing.

Sandman is talk, talk, talk, talk, TALK. It's nothing but talk. There's nothing to it beyond talking. If you thought V was action light Sandman would make you tear what hair you have out and scream at the protagonist to stop moping around, hit a weight room, and get a tan.
