Barely.....you seriously need some memory

If you create another user account with as little as possible running in the background you might be ok. If creating another account is'nt possible, kill every non-critical process running on your machine before you start the game. Also make sure you have alot of virtual memory allocated(1GB should do).

If your vid card memory is shared, you might have to lessen the texture settings ingame. No matter what, you CAN get G2 to run. You have plenty of CPU. When you enter crowded places like a city you'll get a drop in frame rates which is normal.....but with only 512mb.....

Not really.
I had some time to test it with my "gothic1" computer.

1.7 Ghz celeron
256 SDR100
Geforce 4 ti 4200.

And it plays fine. Only the city is rather.... choppy.

Just install it and it will run fine.

I don't have any problems playing GII and GIINOTR with 512MB RAM and 2.4GHz, not even chopiness.

Gothic 2 should run fine with that pc, naturally you'll have to drop the view distance a bit while you're in the city.
