There are not only alcohol and sulfur in the game. You can find mercury in Fisk's hut, and I forgot where you can find Molerat Grease, but I know it does exist. Here is a list of all the ingredients, I don't know if all of them exist though (I used cheats).

How do you read kor calom's reciepe? On the reverse page it mentions reading it backwards but spelling the words backwards didn't make any sense.

Potions are possible! At least, I am ninety percent sure. I stumbled across the weed mixers early on and made some permanent strength and life bonus potions. I was only able to make two, as I only had to lab flasks. I have been unable to make more as of yet. I suspect you can only make a limited number (like recieving benefits from 420 or lute). I am not positive on this yet. I will soon restart and try different combinations of ingredients. Please post if you have had similar experiences. Thanks.

If you are in front of a lab table you can *use* the table and it will go through the animations of you mixing a potion, although I've never seen a finished product once I was done |

No you cannot make potions. Yes there are ingredients available but you can't actually make potions. However in G2 you will be able to make potions. And yea...I never understood how to read Cor Kalom's recipe either.
