Sounds like a video card prob to me also..

A while back I installed the latest drivers from Nvidia's site and had lots of problems with games. It took me a while to decide to try an older Nvidia driver but that solved my problems. One thing I noticed was that Nvidia doesn't always put MS certified or WHQL'd drivers out on their download site. The latest ones I was having probs with were not MS certified. I dropped back to the latest ones that had been WHQL'd and walla it worked like a charm.

XP

I have a newish machine with XP on but I have yet to install BG2 on it. It still resides on my PIII 500.

Thanks for tips about 3D acceleration.

Its great to see BG2 still being played again and again......classic game.

Still yet to be beaten IMHO.

Regards,

Hexmaster.
