A question about skills.

Ok I know that there is a limited number of learning points and dont want to mess up my character by wasting them . So What skills are good to learn / needed to get through the game?

Alchemy and all the potions?
Trophy taking for hunting?
Forging weapons and armor ?
Picklock skill?
Pickpocket ?

At the moment I have a militia character and a mercenary character on the go.

Also found a little secret I was eating lots of apples and after eating about 30 of them you gain +1 Strength .

Also I think the free beer in Khorinns may do something as well as it has a description on the info window saying " Dark Paladin" The apples also had a description something like " Firm and Juciy "

I'm going to say that the picklocking skill might get very useful to you, as there are quite a lot of locked chests in-game. As for everything else, you should see to them yourself, even if you make a mistake... You will find out that, by the end of the game, you will have plenty of learning points for you to upgrade most of the things you wanted - only some sooner, and some later.
