| Gothic 2 - Valley of Mines |
|
This is a dumb quesiton but I have just started playing this game the other day and I am trying to find where the Valley of Mines is. Can anyone help me out? Right now I am in the Khorinis city.

Moving to Gothic 2 Spoilers...
From my peeking around in the Spoilers forum, I think you have to get a mission to go there before you can get past the guards to the place.

Well you have at the real least : 10 horus of gameplay before you can enter the VoM. You'll find out how to get there through making quests and finish the main story of Chapter 1.
But if you just want to know how to get there...
Spoiler:
Exit the city through the east gate. Go right and follow the road up to the point where there are some stairs, don't take the stairs and go straight forward.
You'll pass under a bridge, keep following the road and you'll see a tavern, go in the tavern and go the the door, face outside, go out then right and then right again, then the first to the left.
You'll be in the higher plains where Bengar's farm is. Don't go to Bengar but follow the road and the river to the waterfalls, right of the waterfalls there are paladins guarding the door to the VoM.

just kidding, but coming from Khorinis cut right at the dead harpy...follow the path and stay to the right. Hug the wall and you'll run right into 2 guards...
My advice is to just play and have fun and qut writing in the forums cause your bored

Yeah...umm...i've been trying to get on the forums for a few days but my computer kept screwing up...i was going to ask the very same question.
Thank you for clearing this up for me...i was soo lost.
I have completed the first quest and i just couldnt find the VoM.
