Just vissiting this forum (i think)
Anyway a long time ago i bought a game named Gothic from a recommandation from a friend of mine. One of the npc' i remember best was the leader of the water mages Saturas in New camp.
For not so long ago i finnished Gothic 2, a thing that puzzled me was a letter i found in a frozed hut over at the ruins of New camp.
In the letter i found Saturas eksplained that the water mages where to seek out the senter of destruktion.
first i thougt it ment the tempel of the sleeper so i went there but the bridge had collapsed,
Is this an ekstra quest for Gothic 2? if not do you think the answer will be in The night of the raven expansion? |

Well don't know for sure but I think it is just a loose end. there are many of them

To bad it could be an interesting side quest, ahh in the night of the raven focuses more on the water mages, maybe there.

You can also come across a similar letter from Gilbert where he was residing in the cave in the rock wall behind the outer ring of the Old Camp along with a few items you can pick up and use there. I have recovered both letters, read them, and found nothing to be done with them except for the fact that it is kind of nice to see information on some of the characters from the Gothic One Story line given to provide insight into more GI characters which survived the barrier collapse and can perhaps be seen again later in the GII addon or the GIII due out in 2005. Just a lil more FYI.
P.S. I like to think that they got out and have restarted their lives outside of the colony. |

in the addon(i hav the german version), the watermages r actually seeking something, they r seeking for some lost piece of the island and some ancient city, but i dunno how that could b the centre of destruction |

Maybe some sort of portal in that city. a portal between the realm of Beliar and the earth. and the dragons and all the other evil in the world came from there
