Sam & Max back from the grave ... again

There is a report at Adventure Gamers that Telltale Games has signed an agreement with Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell that allows them to create new games based on the propery. Telltale is not picking up the Sam & Max: Freelance Police game which was cancelled last year, this will be an entirely new project.
