No idea.
I doubt it. The game is old now and it's multiplayer wasn't exactly top-notch.

Baldur's Gate 2 is hardly a game for online play. Since you generate the whole party by yourself, you miss out most of the "what's this game all about" - i.e no followers and picking up PCs for your party and the PCs themselves is half-the fun in the game.

IF you are so desparate to play a game with someone else, and are so intend to it being BG2 like, I'd recommend Icewind Dale 2 on LAN with a friend of yours. It can be pretty good (or so I am told).

For online play, I'd recommend NWN, though it is pretty un-BG2 like.

i know nwn andi want to get online with nwn cuz im quite good but the prob is that i doubt ill get an original here cuz its quite old
