Relics quest seems bugged-plz help |
|
I have collected all the relics for Saturnas, but in my quest log, it only shows a sort of error message saying I have given him "NAME"...
Now he will not recognise I have given him all the relics and I guess I can't complete NOTR.
Has anyone had this problem?
Is there an in game workaround?
Do I need to reinstall?
I would hate to have to reinistall, start over and hope it works the second time...imagine if it didn't. ARRGH!
BTW, Am playing new US Gothic2 Gold, no other in-game bugs I know of so far.
Please help |

i'm not quite sure what your first paragraph means....but..
i don't think the relics are important here, i don't think you need to complete the quest to finish addon world, they are supposed to help get through the traps in the temple of Adanos, but they don't have anything to do with opening the temple. |

Denis,
What I meant was that the relics quest doesn't recognise which relics I have given Saturas (in my quest journal). In the quest journal I have the first two entries only. The third entry which should be the start of the list of which relics I have given Saturas ony says "NAME?". Which looks like an error/bug.
I thought I needed to solve this quest in order to pass through the rooms. From what you are saying thats not the case, which is good news...
I have entered the temple, I am in the first room with a bunch of strange buttons to press...what do I do next?
I will read forums and try to work out solution. Thanks for your response and letting me know all is not lost. |

If you find how those color tablets help you pass the puzzles, please explain me! |

Gotit...Come on! we all know that nobody actually reads those stones to get through the temple traps...i'm just saying that according to Saturas, that should be the case....
GTaher
the first room has five bottons on the left wall, forget about the right side, go to the left, press the first, fifth and the third botton (in order, from left to right)
then a door will open, careful don't press one botton twice, that will trigger the trap, when i first got here i did that and i thought i was stuck... |

The stones give some hints about the traps. I found them very useful when going to Adanos' temple. Of course you can do it with a little try-and-error, but the stones should be able to guide you through it. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Good for you Sem, I am just saying that I don't understand a word of those color tablets and that I don't understand what hints they provide. In fact for me most puzzle in the temple are self-explanatory puzzles you don't need more hint than the puzzle itself provide, except the first button puzzle. So if you have explanation on the hints these color tablets provide, please give em, I'm very curious to know.
In fact now I remember one hint that gave few help, it's the follow light thing. But even for this one, apply it to the puzzle was very vague and required few tries but the hint minimize their number.
Denis: yep don't worry I understand you story explanation to explain that they aren't required and there's a story logic in that. Yes if "those" dam players was reading with more care the dialogs and story they wouldn't need to overload the forum servers! |

Thanks for help and comments all. Once I realised it was not required (thanks to your posts), I worked my way through puzzles with a little trial and error.
Cheers. |
