I truly wish I could agree with that statement, but this game felt like so very, very unfinished. Compare the dungeons at the end of the game with those at the start. The last few dungeons are filled with objects, many with opening drawers (although they are all empty), while those at the start are barren and empty.
On a more trivial side, I did not like the wandering trainers. What a pain!
At this point my memories have faded about this game, and all I recall is the conclusion that MM9 was a very, very uncomplete game rushed out the door to try and alleviate a cash flow problem.
I am a long time fan of the M&M series and really, really wanted to like this game ... but I just could not. When I moved to Bermuda I kept M&M 3 through 7 and gave 8 and 9 away. 8 'cuz it was too easy, and not as good as 7 ... and 9 'cuz, well, my space was limited and there was no way I was going to use up one of my 12 alloted spaces for *that* one. I only brought 12 boxes (2 boxes for M&M 6&7, as 3-5 are on a disk - I got the collectors edition or something, M&M Trilogy I believe it was called). _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

9 was the most disappoint M&M in my book, but I haven't played any of the spin-offs.
I do plan on picking up the Heroes games. |

Reading these reviews made me happy. |

Happy that I didn't buy M&M 9. I loved the WOX and in some was that represented the pinnacle of CRPG's despite all its frustrations, it was an eminently replayable game. _________________ The biggest rocks are but grains of sand to an ocean. |
