Marvellous news!

I look forward to ditching MSN Messenger, my Hotmail account and Passport in one fell swoop.

I'm beginning to get the feeling that if Google does something, there's little point in competing. Whatever they do is either free or very low-cost, will contain textual rather than graphical adverts, will be powerful, well supported, user-friendly and well-known.
