Never used them. You don't really need it and I think it's a little unrealistic to grab a potion everytime things get hot around you. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Nobody uses the quickpotions. This feature was made for the Diablo crowd.
Quicksave is definitely a good idea. Just make it a habit to only quicksave in the standard gameplay screen and while you´re doing _absolutely nothing_ . Otherwise you might end up with a corrupted save. And don´t forget to make a standard save every 30 minutes.
btw., G2 gets easier after chapter 1. At least for those who listen carefully what they´re supposed to do. Save in another slot while you´re still in the city. If you get your ass handed in the valley of mines you missed an important point. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

When running....weave from side to side to dodge creatures that are too fast. This didn't work in Gothic 1 but it works here.... I've dodged orc blows from behind with this trick and have deterred snappers and even wargs, however shadowbeasts are too smart for that. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?!
