I knew I had heard the name In Extremo somewhere, and then it all made sense when I continued reading your post!

No idea, it's not my story. I just found it slightly amusing and wanted to spread some fun by linking to it.

Black Label Society - The Blessed Hellride... very mellow.

Downloaded illegally and not ashamed of it (because it's music and not anything else (stupid music industry))- I like it so much that I’m going to buy the album. (See sometimes it does work that way!)

@To people offended by pirating, I felt much the same as you about intellectual property until the music industry started suing 12 and 62 year olds, and don’t seem to have once considered the fact that lower sales could have more to do with inferior product than internet downloads. So now I now longer respect music companies right to someone else’s intellectual property largely because the people who’s intellectual property it actually is make most of their money from concerts.
To wrongs do not make a right, but they do make a wrong and a, in this case very small, retaliation.
Sorry, I’m in a bad mood so I had to blame somebody for something.

Did I mention RPGDot's stance on piracy?

Tell yourself whatever you want to make yourself feel better, but you're still a thief.

Yes, I am. I am a thief in the same in the same way that someone who borrows a video from a friend instead of renting it is a thief, I am a thief in the same way that people who make tapes of their favorite songs off of the radio or let their friends borrow their CDs are thieves, in the same way that people who take a couple grapes at the grocery store are thieves.
I have no problem with committing petty theft from the labels of a multi-billion dollar industry who the well deserved reputation for screwing their own artists. Where it not for the fact that the artists get so very little from the sale of their CDs I would feel very different. Hence, I do not steal from hard working developers of video games, I do not steal the songs from local bands that I like that have not yet been signed by a major label, and I do not steal from movie studios even though I do feel that they exploit their own customers.

True, but what kind of thief? Is there a moral difference between a thief who is a carjacker stealing peoples cars at gunpoint then joyriding them until they are totaled, and a thief who steals soda by refilling his drink at a restaurant that does not allow it? I believe there is. I believe that there must be many lines drawn in many places, and that is what I wished to discuss.

Again here we have lines being drawn. Must there be such a zero tolerance policy that it cannot even be discussed at all? Not even when it is piracy involving a completely different industry? Must we pretend here that such a thing does not even exist?
And to ask a question, did the person who made the ‘Divinity’ template ask the permission of the maker of Divine Divinity for permission before it was made? Do you ask the creators of Torment before you used your last avatar? Or George Lucas before drawing and posting that picture you drew of Darth Maul on you own website?
Please keep in mind that my intention here is not meant as any kind of personal attack or retaliation, simply an attempt to point out the lines we draw. I myself like to dabble in the creation of fan-fiction, and as well intentioned as it is it is still the theft of intellectual property is it not?

And on an unrelated side note your cubism style ‘Flower’ is quite stunning.
