Xardas' Tower - Behind the bars

THis is my third run through the game, and as I have nevr been able to find the way to open those bars to get to the chest behind, could someone put me out of my misery?

There's a switch to the right of the fireplace in the room where Xardas has his bed. Near the chair. It's almost invisible, but once you see it, you'll ask yourself why you didn't notice it in the first place, hehe. Good luck.

I hated it when I completed the game "perfectly", completing all quests and killing all enemies but:

I - still - couldnt - open - that - door

Oh, for Karras's sake! I sat in that armchair and stared at that fireplace for at least ten minutes over the course of two games. Now I feel like a complete moron. All that fretting for so little - thought it was going to be something special.

I sure do love this game. Bought me a little Bose computer speaker system with a subwoofer and I'm noticing nuances in the music I never heard before.

I really like the way you can't just bash your way into chests and through doors in this game - makes it feel more real.

Thanks for putting me out of said misery.
