Test of Fire

I have played G2:TNoR about 2 weeks now and im still in chapter 1. Im a novice and want to get to see Lord Hagen, but I have to be magician. But to become a magician I have to complete the test of fire. So when this test starts?

Have you gained access to the library? If not, do your chores for the various Mages, then You'll gain access from Parlan.

There are like 7 books you can read in the library. One if the Test of Fire book. Read that book, and you'll find out that you have to request the Test of Fire. Goto to Parlan and mention that you want to take the Test of Fire. Then goto the Pyrokar and the other 2 mages with him about taking the Test of Fire. All 3 mages will give you a test so talk to all 3 of them.
