i just have one question, i have windows ME and am thinking of upgrading to WinXP, what is everyones thoughts on XP and do you think i should go for it? |

Why do you want to change your OS? Are you having troubles with your current one?
If you really want it I'd wait six months before getting xp, if I were you. That will give them enough time to make sure that all the security, bugs problems. It'll also mean that all the drivers have been updated to work with it. The fact remains though that there are no XP specific programs so thee is no reason to use it yet. |

this is jusy my opinion, so don't get mad...but....
win98 is much better than winME for gaming, but winXP is better than both. |

Security in Win XP is certainly better then in win ME. Software and hardware support is very good. Games run with much less problems then on previous OS's with NT core (you can check for compatibility issues here http://www.ntcompatible.com/).
If your hardware can handle the XP with ease, consider XP seriously. |

I have them and they are very good for Gothic on my configuracion.
I like them (and I use them also for games)

Dont upgrade unless you want to do some video editing. That is the only reason why I use the blasted thing because of the ntfs having a terabite...terabyte per file limitation....windows has a 4 gb file limitation. If you have no problems, why uprade and make them bastards richer eh? |
