The one in Xardas' tower?

Use bow or xbow. Shoot him til he turns toward you, back away til he can't reach you and shoot til he drops, He can't get through the small door.

Yah... Demon Lords can be very hard to kill.
My number one piece of advice to you is to make sure you've got all the best equipment currently available and make sure you've got full health. I'm not sure what to do with a mage... but the important thing in melee fighting any Demon is to make sure you strike before they land a punch on you. You can always see them wind up and thats the place to hit em'.
Easiest way... just charge the demon and strike it. Then start swinging left and right as fast as possible... trying not to let an attack through.
Good Luck to ya'

As soon as the demon lord strikes, hit him backk, so he will have to abort his attack, repeat this proces till he's dead ( or banished, whatever)

The Harm or Destroy Evil runes work very well against the Demon Lord.

And how The Demon Lord is supposed to be a problem? That's in ch5! At that time your hero becomes a walking slaughterhouse - no matter which guild you belong to! And that Demon Lord dies from two swings of your two-hander or whatever you use then...

@CryScythe

You've got a point there...
