What is the best "random" magical item you have fo
   

I found a "Mundane Ring" which had 50% magic resistance and 35% spell reflection, valued at 21,600 septims.

Please do not list any items from the main quest nor daedric artifacts here.

Got that ring as well and it's probably the best piece of loot so far but what's also quite nice for my stealth/marksman character is this 'Bow of Quietus' that silences for 20 seconds on strike. I haven't used it much yet since I haven't come across any real powerful magic users in a while but when I do, I'd say I'm nicely prepared with this bow .

holy crap! where did you find it? is it a loot item of the main quest or is it just a really powerful side item?

A marauder had it if I recall correctly (they are the ones that wear daedric armour around level 25+). I think it is just a "random" piece of level dependant loot.
