Morrowind question to the writer that did the preview

People talk about the wide open gameplay in Morrowind. I see that as having a number of different ways to solve each problem, not just being able to take any quest in any order. Were there many ways to solve quests and overcome obstacles you encountered? Did the combat let you plan a method of attack or set up an ambush. Basically, did you feel like you could do pretty much what you wanted to (within reason for a CRPG of course)? Thanks.

You can really do what you want, there are so many possibilities hidden in the game. You can sneak on an enemy, you can paralyze him, you can slash him into peices, you can avoid combat - it all depends on you.

thanks for the reply, the more I read, the moreI can't wait for this game to arrive (ordered the XBox version myself). by the way, I enjoyed your 3 part preview of the game. after reading preview after preview stating the same PR facts over and over (such as the 6 novels worth of text), it was nice to read a preview that actually addressed the game itself on a number of different levels.
