I tried that, not that you can tell what's what. Right now, I've got both blue "hashes" underneath the target's shield level meter.

Update- strangely enough, my fighting computer did lose a chip or two. My Fight Commands Mk1 upgrade went poof. I wonder if a digit got lost during the data crunching that went on during the process of upgrading the save file. I've never had any hull damage on my Nova (well, other than a bloody death that prompted a reload), so I don't think the Mk1 got splattered during a fight.

The good news is that it forced me to attempt combat without using the autopilot. I'm no Xen, but at least I don't embarass myself now.
