Hi. Alright. So.
I started playing Gothic 2 again. Now I need to freshen my memory on how the game works:
For Crossbows, does the amount of Dexterity add to it's performance?
How many rings can I wear? I've worn 2 at one point, but now I'm restricted to only wearing one at a time.
Is it possible to train my Crossbow skill to over 64% before Chapter 6? I'm in Chapter 4 as Paladin right now.
Lord Hagan doesn't train me in 2H skills. Is this normal? I read a walkthrough that he is supposed to be able to train me to 100% 2H.
Does your amount of Strength improve performance of anything other than melee weapons?

I tried using the search on some of these questions, but got more crap than answers.
And one more question. What's the best way to defeat Trolls and the Black Troll? Jumping sideways to dodge their attacks doesn't seem to work for me. |

- no, i think not... it only makes sure you can get better crossbows, and you can pickpocket.
- 2 rings, 1 amulet
- i'm also ch4, so i don't know...
- i'm a dragon hunter, so i don't know (sorry)
- no, you only make more damage with more strenght
- i only have answer for the balck troll:
lure him out, then go to the hunter. he will shoot at the troll. now he will go to the hunter and you can hit him. then run away, and he will go to the hunter again. do this the whole time, and he will be easy.

1. It makes them stronger..
2. 2 rings, 1 amulet, Its a bug, A few pages ago someone sayd the same thing, Chack this forum...
3. Why wont you be able to? What about that guy that wants his crossbow back? you know, That hunter near the taveran...
4. I never traind my 2H over 60%... But i heard hagen can teach you to 100%, Alsow, Lee can teach you to 100% for an amount of GP...
5. you can get batter weapons and it gives you more DMG to Melee Weapons...
6. Take a speed potion, Run behind him hit, Run behind him, Hit...
If you are in chapter 4 a paladin you are suppos to be able to kill him with less then 10 Hits.... |

Thanks for the quick replies and the Black Troll tips.
So does Dex or Str increase Crossbow damage?
I guess I'm bugged into wearing only one ring. Anyone know a solution for this? |

first, don't wear any ring. few minutes later try them again...

ask lee he can train u to a 100 in 2h even if u r a paladin
also a one of the dragon hunters in the VOM as for hagen never tried it |

Thanks, I unequipped everything, then equipped two rings.
Wish I had known about that bug earlier. 
So does Strength or Dexterity increase Crossbow damage? |

only dexterity increases the damage with crossbow.

Okay thanks. I'm reading mixed answers on the forum.
I've invested like crazy into Dexterity this game. I usually invest in melee, but I'm trying something different this time around.
I have 125 Dex, so I'd hate to think I wasted all those lp into nothing.  |
