Hi..!! I was playing Gothic2 the other day, when all of a sudden my computer f**cked up and restarted!! But now my savegame doesnt work anymore!?! In the load menú there´s just a white screen!`? Can aanyone help me plz..!! cu´z i really dont feel like beginning all over again!!? PLZ ANYONE!!  |

O.k tizmo, Welcome.
The white screen in the load menu confirms the saved game is no longer usable, you will need to start from an earlier save or even a new game, it is good practice to make frequent alternating saves, then if if happens again you can soon catch up.  |

That's exactly what happened to me! It took me a long time to understand... Yes you have to start over... This is the topic I started when this problem came... (I used the VdfsInit.zip)
Use Wulf's link, it worked for me! But after a while... did it happen when you got to chapter 2 or something like that?
Anyway, I started all over and before reaching chapter 2 I saved... every time I tried something and it didn't work (my save was deleted) I used that saved game that always worked... you should try that… |

I have a solutaion! If you have the norten anti vairous 2004 you can recover the lost files from the wrong opreations!
